Monika gutén appointed new ceo for smp parts
The Board of SMP Parts have appointed Monika Gutén to the new CEO of SMP Parts and Monika will start on September 1st. Current interim CEO, Peter Forslund will resume his position as Chief Financial Officer when Monika joins.
Monika has extensive experience from Swedish Industrial companies from several roles, with a recurring focus on developing business and people. She has been working for the tooling division of Sandvik based in Detroit, USA, M&A responsible for Epiroc’s aftermarket division and spent 12 years within SSAB group in various positions. In her current role as Investment Director at the listed company Storskogen, she has been responsible for the industry portfolio of the division “Product companies”. Monika is born in Sundsvall, but lives in Stockholm with her family today, and she has a Master’s in Business Administration from Stockholm University.
